Silver Lining
"The term used when you want to emphasize the hopeful side of a situation that might seem gloomy on the surface."
 
Life rarely throws at us exactly the thing we expect in the way we expect it. Doesn't it? We think we are headed in a direction, within a timeframe, with specific people, etc... and then the details of your path change. You expected green, but you got pink. You really wanted yellow, but you got a deep shade of blue. But, I believe, within the ebbs and flows of life a silver lining is almost always present... if we are willing to look for it.
